I must say that I am quite disappointed in the outcome of the trial.
First of all, I expected much better of Captain McCrea. One would think that a Captain of his reputation would be used to enforcing discipline and maintaining order, especially in regards to his own ship, but I was sadly mistaken. Perhaps it is because he is the Captain of a civilian passenger liner and unused to enforcing stricter orders when a perilous situation arises.
